The owners of Durty Nelly found the main problem with 99.9 percent of Irish pubs in Canada. They're not Irish! Many have tried to recreate the Irish experience, but have failed. We at Durty Nelly's believe that to be truly Irish, you have to be from Ireland. So with the help of the Irish Pub Company, Durty Nelly's life began right from her Irish roots. Designed and built in Dublin, this authentic Irish pub began its journey across the Atlantic in December 2008 to be reconstructed piece by piece in the heart of Nova Scotia.
